Marseille Beltrey, Product manager in ALPI for Caneco Implantation and Caneco BIM software and expert in Electrical design in BIM models, has been invited by Autodesk University to give a class called « Finally, Electrical Schematics and Local Standards Support in Autodesk® Revit® MEP ».
Co-animated with Julien Drouet, MEP Technical Autodesk Specialist, this class will take place on Tuesday 27th November 2012 from 10:30am to 12:00pm (UTC -8)
They will present how to effectively use the workflow between Caneco BT, Revit, and AutoCAD® MEP software using ALPI's new software : Caneco BIM.
Caneco BIM is a software tool used to check and input electrical information in a Building Information Model. Electrical data are then exported onto Caneco BT to define the cross section cables and the protective devices. Finally, Caneco results are reimported to enhance BIM project.
Finally, they will share how some big customers, such as Oger International, SPIE, and Cegelec, are using this combination to generate profits.
Class Learning Objectives:
- > Design and manage electrical installation in Revit MEP
- > Create schematics and get electrical calculation results
- > Profit from the information in your intelligent model
- > Create construction documents that are based on local standards
