Autodesk Partnership to Provide BIM Solutions for Electrical Trades
With this collaboration, Autodesk and ALPI offer a solution that better satisfies the needs of designers, contractors and operators of electrical installations throughout the building lifecycle. In particular, this combined offering helps support Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows for electrical professionals.
The combination of these products extends the modelling capabilities in Revit, providing a link to the comprehensive Caneco BT solution for low voltage electrical systems design. The use of these two applications together increases user productivity and leads to a more efficient design process.

A key aspect of this new system is the award of certificates of competency (CACIEC) on completion of a strengthened training programme and an appraisal. Visit the APAVE Training Site
In 2011, ALPI signed a partnership agreement with the Burkina Faso Higher Institute of Electrical Engineering (ISGE-BF) for the training of electrical engineers and with a view to obtaining the ALPI Approved Training Centre label on its software range. Further information on the ISGE-BF.
In December 2000, Bureau Veritas and ALPI signed a partnership agreement confirming the decision of Veritas to acquire three electrical installation software packages published by ALPI (compliant with standards C15100, C13200 and C17200) for its Construction activity. The various Veritas agencies are being progressively equipped with and trained on ALPI software products.
